My Prison Bitch name is Juicy Ass, hee!

I had a highly productive shopping adventure today. There's nothing more exciting than hitting the stores in their end of financial year sales. After finding nothing else to do today, coupled with the fact I got paid yesterday, shopping seemed like an appealing option.

But it was utter chaos in Pitt Street Mall today, especially in the larger department stores- Grace Brothers and David Jones. It was so bizarre seeing those immaculately dressed, professional city workers going absolutely crazy in the shoe and lingere sections of the stores. It was as if they adopted an 'all woman for herself' mentality; grabbing virtually everything that was on special as fast as she could because she didn't want anyone else to share in the spoils of the sale...Gees, even I'm not that vicious.

Underwear shopping is the best though, there's this unexplainable satisfaction in buying yourself spiffy new undies and bras. It's like an indulgence of sorts because they're not that kind of garment you'd buy every week or so. Also I guess because it's more of a private and intimate thing, and you could wear whatever you wanted to underneath all your clothing without anyone else knowing. You could be wearing those daggy granny undies or that swanky red g-string and no one would know (unless you are that way inclined to flash people in public, but hey- it's your choice). It's all quite liberating, heh.

I am so bored it's not funny.

Everyone I know is either at work, still studying for exams or asleep *pouts* I need something to do because sitting on my ass all day infront of my computer doesn't really sound too appealing...

I am now in tears after reading this...I remember hearing about this on the news when the boys murdered James eight years ago. I couldn't believe that people a few years younger than myself could be guilty of such a disgusting and cruel crime. I don't see any justice in allowing them to be released after 8 years of imprisonment, nor do I see justice in allowing them to obtain new identities and start a new life when they, themselves denied someone a chance at starting his...That little boy they murdered won't be able to muck around with his mates, he won't be able to hug his mother, graduate from school...It just sickens me that his killers are being released after only such a short period of time...

Rejoice! Rejoice!

As of yesterday my final exams finished. Now I have 4 glorious weeks of Winter break...but I don't know what to do with myself now I have all this free time, heh.

Online enrolment is being a bitch, I have to add some subjects for next semester but the damn thing won't let me login in...grrrr...yes, I know it's 1am on a Sunday morning, but I'm up study...errr, cramming for an exam I have tomorrow afternoon. I needed a break from reading all the boring law notes and statutes.

At first I though online enrolment would be a cool thing to be implemented- it meant I didn't have to go all the way into the Commerce and Economics Office at Uni to enrol, allowing me to add and remove subjects at my own will in the comfort of my room. However after the debacle at the begining of the year where the system didn't recognise the change in my degree course codes, therefore not allowing any of the people doing my course to enrol and the fact that the server is so slow and unstable, has just diminished my faith in the system.

Oh how I miss those pesky pink paper forms where you had to meticulously colour in and fill out the squares...

For the third day in a row public transport has been free, yay! I'm starting to like this not having to pay for the train and bus...I don't mind if the dispute between the government and the unions keeps on going for a few more days- I'm saving myself some much needed cash. But also the free fares encourage people to use public transport rather than using their own cars that cause a lot of congestion, not to mention pollution, in the city.

I wonder if I'll be able to survive until I get paid on Wednesday with the $14.75 I have in my bank account. It should be interesting to see, heh. My bank balance isn't very healthy at the moment because I had to pay a couple of bills and while I was out today I couldn't resist the sale that Nine West was having. The sale which resulted in me buying yet another pair of shoes, but they were reduced from $129 to $59- how could anyone go past that? ;)

I could so give Imelda Marcos a run for her money. Either that or open my own shoe store.

By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet my current journal entries will now be placed in 'Lately' instead of here, in the index page, which is the new home of my blog.

Woohoo! It works, Rissy has finally gotten herself into the world of Blogging...I guess it was about time, heh

Well tonight has been interesting (for lack of a better word). The shit just hit the fan over at the Off Topic board at FF...poor Leif, hopefully it'll all die down soon. He's a great guy and kudos to him for having such a kick ass domain with over 30 000 plus members on his message board.

I've been at the boards for the majority of the night watching it all unfold and it ain't pretty. Some people need to get a grip and understand that if they want to post on FF they've got to follow the board rules. Also it's a privately owned site, so those irrate posters can't pull all that 'First Ammendment' crap, they checked their rights at the door when they signed up.
