Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

It's hard to let your mind run it's course and determine what you want in the end when you have all sorts of others things plaguing it as well.

'You have an infectious smile'. Hee. I don't know if that was a pick-up line or a compliment.

Nothing like some retail therapy to help me get over this rather blah mood I’ve been in. Kookai is having a sale at Town Hall and as I was walking past on my way back from lunch I couldn’t resist. I'm so weak, heh. I now have the 2 tops I wanted to buy a couple of weeks ago for less than half the price. Nice.

Conference calls are amusing. I'm in one now with the rest of our Asia Pacific offices and it's cracking me up. I probably should be paying more attention rather than posting here. Oh well.

As you can see I still have nothing of consequence I feel like blogging about.

Riding in Cars with Boys

Thursday night, absolutely pissing down with rain.

Are you guys insane?!
C’mon, it’s the perfect opportunity. Everyone will be inside cause the weather is crappy
Why can’t we stay inside too? I was getting comfortable in front of the TV!

Instead of staying indoors, dry and warm in my PJ’s, I find myself in a car with the boys at 10pm driving out to West Pennant Hills for Operation Laz: Part 2.

I don’t know what they do to street signs around that part of Sydney, but damn, they must make them super steal-proof because we couldn’t get it off even after two hours of trying. I should have brought a video camera with me because it would have been hilarious to have on film. The determination they all had to get me my street sign was really sweet and the disappointment in their faces when they eventually gave up was adorable. I *heart* you guys for trying. Hee.

It was an…adventure. Especially the car ride home...

Laz you should really take off those wet clothes, you’re going to get sick
And wear what?
Your underwear
Um, no. I think not, I'll take my chances with the flu

But that didn’t stop the rest of them from stripping down. It would have been an interesting situation had we been pulled over, lucky Matt’s car has tinted windows.

After failing twice, I guess it’s a sign that people shouldn’t be stealing street signs ;)

Wanna Die?

After hearing so much about this movie I had to check it out for myself to see what all the fuss was about. I haven’t watched many of these foreign movies before so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was quite good. Quirky, but definitely a nice change from those typical romantic comedies churned out by Hollywood. The more I watch it, the more I like it. I think I should watch it again.

Poke

Are y'all still alive?! No one has posted in months. After reading through some of our archives I remembered just how fun group blogs can be. Hee.

Do yourselves a favour and download The Matrix Reloaded trailer. It looks like such a whip ass movie. Eeee!!

I saw the Australian Ballet perform Romeo and Juliet on Saturday night. So beautiful, especially Romeo and Juliet’s balcony pas des deux. I only wish they had more dancing in it instead of the theatrics towards the end, I know it’s got a dramatic ending but still, some more prancing around wouldn’t hurt.

I’ve been trying to find the MP3 of Romeo and Juliet’s theme song from the ballet, composed by Sergei Prokofiev, but I can’t find it on Kazaa or WinMX. Bugger. It's such a wonderful piece of music.

I saw a shooting star on Saturday night too. That was pretty cool. Aside from making a wish are there any other superstitions associated with shooting stars?

Erm, I really don’t have much else I feel like blogging about. Bleh.

Ear Candy: 'Ghost' -- Howie Day
(More people should be listening to this guy! His debut album 'Australia' is worth a listen. And no, he's not Australian)

Evil Dawson

What a fucked up movie. Seriously, that is the only way I can think of describing it. It’s not horrendously bad or anything, it has redeeming moments that are twistedly humorous but overall it’s just, well, fucked up. Until you’ve seen the movie you probably won’t understand.

I’ve gotta say, seeing Dawson (yeah I know it’s not his character in the movie but James Van Der Beek will forever be known as Dawson in my eyes) taking a dump, having sex, masturbating and singing Anna Begins was enough to make me want to poke myself repeatedly in the eye with one of the sharper, unpopped popcorn kernels in the bowl.

But Ian Somerhalder clad only in his boxer briefs dancing around? That was hot.

Answer me this

Random question brought up after remembering a previous conversation I've had with my friends: If you were someone else, would you date yourself?
